01· the problem

The businesses that hold a neighborhood together — pressure washers, basketball trainers, small nonprofits — usually have a Facebook page and a phone number. A real site is the thing that turns a referral into a customer, and they don't have the time or budget to build one.

02· the approach

A nonprofit web service that delivers free websites to small businesses and nonprofits in Orlando. I handle design, development, deployment, basic SEO, and ongoing maintenance for every client. Sourcing is organic — Facebook groups, Nextdoor, word-of-mouth.

03· what shipped

30+ production sites delivered. Notable clients include MM Services & Cleaning, M4 Basketball Training (Coach Marcelinho Machado, 2012 Olympian), and Career Compass (a high schooler's nonprofit for career exploration). The wall of work is the metric.

05· what's next

Train more student volunteers. The bottleneck is me — the model only scales when other students can ship.
