Sustainability work, run like an international firm — by students.
Most student sustainability clubs are one initiative at a time — a recycling drive, a beach cleanup. They burn out. The shape of the problem is structural: hunger, decent work, climate. You need a structure that can hold all three.
Three pillars mapped to UN SDGs: Zero Hunger (SDG 2), Decent Work (SDG 8), Climate Action (SDG 13). Each pillar runs as a sub-program with its own metrics — the food-rescue line, the Personal Finance Project, the Neighborhood Fridge toiletry kits. The site is the org chart for 13 students across 4 continents.
1,700+ pounds of food rescued, ongoing finance curriculum, recurring fridge restock cycle. Holding three pillars at once is harder than running one campaign — but the failure mode of one campaign is 'one good year,' which is what we wanted to avoid.
A second-year cohort. The students graduating this cycle each take a pillar's documentation forward, so the org doesn't restart from zero.
